Fourteen students from The Runnels School have had their original works accepted for publication in Creative Communication’s spring 2018 anthology, “A Celebration of Poets.”

The poets are freshmen Mia Alfonso with “Clown”; Kaylee Caillouet with “The House Two Doors Down”; Parker Collett with “All Hollow's Eve"; Barrett Couvillon with “The Queen of Snakes"; Emily Daquano with “Night Chatter"; Jacob Folse with “The Stalking Cornstalks"; Joseph Ismail with “It's Watching You"; Bailey McCurley with “The Moon"; Christopher Ortego with “Do Dead Men Dream on Starlit Nights?"; Marshall Pentes with “Disrespect Garrett"; Connor Porthouse with “Ghostly Tricks"; Garrett Rhinehart with “Halloween” and Ben Stafford with “Haunted Forest,” and sixth-grader Katherine Campbell with the eponymous “Katherine Campbell.”

Runnels teachers Michele Stanfield and Sheri Allen submitted the poems to Creative Communication’s fall poetry contest.
