Alzheimer’s Services of the Capital Area holds caregiver support group meetings in a variety of locations around the city on a regular basis.
Groups are free to attend and provide a caring, nonjudgmental setting for families and friends to share their experiences and learn valuable information to help cope with Alzheimer’s disease, a news release said.
FIRST TUESDAY: 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Alzheimer’s Services of the Capital Area, 3772 North Blvd.
SECOND THURSDAY: 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Sunrise of Baton Rouge, 8502 Jefferson Highway.
SECOND FRIDAY: 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., In the Beginning, 3772 North Blvd.; for families of younger on-set patients
THIRD MONDAY: 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Jones Creek Regional Branch Library, 6222 Jones Creek Road
THIRD TUESDAY: 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., PACE of Baton Rouge, 7436 Bishop Ott Drive
THIRD WEDNESDAY: 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., The Blake at The Grove, Blake Private Dining Room, 9511 Creekview Drive
THIRD THURSDAY: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Garden View Assisted Living, 3130 Jones Creek Road
THIRD SATURDAY: 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Unitarian Church of Baton Rouge, 8470 Goodwood Blvd.
