An $18,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands grant recently was secured for Junior Achievement thanks to efforts by a group of Allstate agency owners and licensed sales professionals.

Participants included Ann Arcement, Shawn Coffey, Glenn Conques, Tina Livingston, Stephen Henry, Debbie Kennedy, Mike Stewart and Jim Williams, all of Baton Rouge; Aldreamia Omar, of Baker; Laurianne Lipari and Warren Gray, both of Greenwell Springs; Greg Bravata, of Denham Springs; Ted Boland, Stephanie Caragliano, Michelle Goudeau, Robin Marshall, Tony Goudeau and Trisha Goudeau, all of Gonzales; Todd Sanford, of Prairieville; Daniel Durand and Janee Durand, both of Plaquemine; and Paul Scaffidi, of New Orleans.

Grant funds will help Junior Achievement promote financial literacy and work readiness programs for 525 students, according to a news release.
