Tickets are on sale for the Jewel J. Newman Community Center’s annual Masquerade Ball and Silent Auction, to be held from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday.

The optional black tie/cocktail event kicks off the center’s capital campaign, according to a news release.

The evening features a silent auction, live food, music, beverages and dancing. A limited number of masks will be sold at the door. Proceeds go toward the center’s efforts to provide outreach, activities and funding for needed improvements.

Tickets are $40 for individuals and $300 for a table of eight and are available at the center, 2013 Central Road, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. Checks and money orders should be made payable to City of BTR/JJNCC.
