The Jones Creek Regional Branch Library, 6222 Jones Creek Road, has plenty of new activities.

Library hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday through Saturday and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Light painting

Teens will tap into their creative side to make “light paintings” using LED lights and the iPad’s Photon Capture app from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday.

Under the Sea bingo

The library will host an evening of beach-themed bingo for adults from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Prizes will be awarded.

Game of war

Adult miniature tabletop war games return to the library from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Lifelong gamesman Michael Badeaux will lead the battle cry for “World War II — Naval Victory in the Pacific.”

Roule bead bracelets

Feeling crafty? Teens will string together beads made out of paper to create a stylish bracelet from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Summer reading wraps up

The Teen Summer Reading Party will be from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. Come say farewell to the summer with “Mario Kart 8” on the Wii U along with pizza.
