Cat Haven of Greater Baton Rouge’s 16th annual Cat Tails & Cocktails fundraiser, held Oct. 6 at The Guru, raised $28,000 for the nonprofit rescue organization.

Approximately 170 guests enjoyed catering by Bouillababes, live music by Josh Magee, a silent auction, a photo booth by Party Portraits Photo Booth and cocktails by Liquid Luxe, including a specialty drink called The Alley Cat.

"We are so grateful to the many Cat Haven supporters for their help in our fundraising efforts," Executive Director Wendy Decker said. "This $28,000 will assist us in our mission to lead Baton Rouge into becoming a no-kill community," Decker said.
