The Zachary High Drama Department presented Noel Coward’s 1941 play "Blithe Spirit" on Sunday in the school's performing arts center.

The comedy features fussy, cantankerous novelist Charles Condomine who is remarried but haunted by the ghost of his late first wife, Elvira, who is called up by a visiting medium. As the personalities clash, Charles’ current wife, Ruth, is accidentally killed and joins Elvira. The two “blithe spirits” haunt Charles.
