A Baton Rouge man who robbed a Capital One Bank on Bluebonnet Boulevard in November 2015 has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Timothy Pugh, 32, entered the bank with a semi-automatic pistol, demanded money from a teller and ran off with about $3,200. He fired off one round as he fled.
Pugh was convicted in January of armed robbery, aggravated criminal damage to property, and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
State District Judge Bonnie Jackson sentenced him Thursday.
