Man sought in armed robbery of Capitol One Bank in Baton Rouge _lowres

A Baton Rouge man who robbed a Capital One Bank on Bluebonnet Boulevard in November 2015 has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Timothy Pugh, 32, entered the bank with a semi-automatic pistol, demanded money from a teller and ran off with about $3,200. He fired off one round as he fled.

Pugh was convicted in January of armed robbery, aggravated criminal damage to property, and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

State District Judge Bonnie Jackson sentenced him Thursday.
