Baton Rouge man faces juvenile sex count

Baton Rouge Police arrested a 27-year-old man accused of engaging in sex acts with a 15-year-old male prostitute before dropping the boy off at his relative’s home.

After the boy climbed into Jeffrey Hall’s SUV on Scenic Highway on March 13, Hall drove the car to Hiawatha Street, where they had a sexual encounter, according to the arrest warrant.

They then had sex at an East Brookstown Drive address before the boy asked Hall to drop him off at his relative’s house, the warrant said.

Hall, of 2742 Appleton Ave., Baton Rouge, was booked Wednesday into Parish Prison on a count of carnal knowledge of a juvenile and resisting an officer.

Man booked in battery on girlfriend

A Baton Rouge man was arrested more than a year after police say he bit his live-in girlfriend in the arm and threw her against a wall.

Jimmie Davis Jr., 40, was arguing with his girlfriend on June 8, 2013, about one of her prior relationships before he grabbed her by her hair and threw her against a wall, according to the arrest warrant.

Davis then bit her in the arm and threatened to fight one of her sons when the boy tried to intervene, the warrant says.

The man has four children with the woman, though the warrant does not specify if the son he threatened also is his son.

Davis, of Sutton Drive, Baton Rouge, was booked Tuesday into Parish Prison on counts of domestic abuse battery. The warrant says Davis was suspected of hiding in Port Allen for the past year.
