Raed Saymeh

A Baton Rouge man was arrested Tuesday after he was accused of propositioning an underage employee for sex and even offering to pay her, according to a Baton Rouge police report.

The teen told investigators that soon after she started working for Raed Saymeh at a business at 5230 Plank Road, he started telling her about how he dreamed about engaging in sex acts with her and that he would often check her out while watching her on a camera, according to his arrest warrant. The Plank Road address is listed online as Roul's Deli.

Saymeh was accused of sending sexual and suggestive text messages in which he mentioned paying her money for the acts, according to the warrant, which quotes the text messages. The teen also told police her boss would initiate video calls through Facetime, but she stopped answering them because he would expose himself to her on the video, according to the warrant.

Saymeh, of 5120 River Meadow, Baton Rouge, was booked Tuesday in Parish Prison on a count of indecent behavior with juveniles.
