Chance Ross, 30

A Baton Rouge man who allegedly robbed a pair of prostitutes at gunpoint at a motel was arrested Saturday on one count of armed robbery, according to Baton Rouge Police.

Chance Ross, 30, 6761 Harry Drive, took purses and approximately $272 in cash from two women at the Extended Stay America Motel on Corporate Boulevard on Sept. 9, according to a Baton Rouge Police report.

The two women had advertised their services on and arranged to meet with an unidentified man at the motel, the report says.

After the man and the two victims had concluded their meeting, Ross telephoned the women from the same phone number as the first man and visited the women’s room, the report says.

The women let Ross inside, “at which time he produced a semi-automatic handgun and demanded” their property, the report says.

The women handed over their purses, containing $272 and the women’s ID cards, the report says.

Ross then forced the two women to strip off their clothes before he fled, the report says.

Bail for Ross, who remained in Parish Prison Sunday evening, has been set at $75,000.
