A Baton Rouge man was arrested Monday after he was accused of raping a woman in her home Sunday night, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Trevor Colby Gause, 29, 6630 Siegen Lane, Apt. 175, was booked with forcible rape by the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office, according to jail records.

According to the affidavit, Gause and the victim were friends and had dinner together and watched television at the victim's home Sunday night.

While watching television, the victim told deputies Gause started to touch her and rub her, according to the affidavit.

The victim told Gause to stop several times and she pushed his hands away, the affidavit states.

Gause then forcibly removed her pants while the victim repeatedly told him to stop and tried to push him off, the affidavit says.

Gause raped the victim even though she continually told him to stop, the affidavit says.

Gause admitted to deputies that the victim told him to stop and tried to push him away but never attempted to fight him.
