Authorities book six on suspicion of DWI
Authorities arrested at least six people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, booking records show.
Those booked and the counts against them:
Derek Johnson, 52, 11144 Susan Ave., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, reckless operation of vehicle, following too close and failure to maintain control.
Shametria Lavergne, 36, 5701 Lanier Drive, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, reckless operation and obstruction of highway.
Vicki Matthews, 43, 5836 Nashville Ave., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI and reckless operation.
Brittany Haynes, 25, 241 Suzanne Dejean Drive, Opelousas, first-offense DWI and failure to signal.
Brian Seal, 31, 57810 Barrow St., Plaquemine, first-offense DWI, resisting an officer, possessing an alcoholic beverage and driver’s license suspended/revoked.
Daphne Hendrick, 57, 888 S. Kenilworth Parkway, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, reckless operation and following too close.
