A building on 48th Street in Baton Rouge caught fire early Monday morning, and the Baton Rouge Fire Department is still investigating the cause, spokesman Mark Miles said.
Firefighters responded at 3:23 a.m. to a building in the 800 block of N. 48th St. owned by Living Waters. Firefighters arrived to find smoke coming from a window in the building. The fire was under control by 3:42 a.m.
Crews determined the fire started in a closet, Miles said. The building sustained light smoke damage.
No additional information was available Monday.
