Baton Rouge Police arrested a 35-year-old woman accused of stabbing a man in the stomach during an argument at her West Chimes Street apartment.
Maria Nalasco, of 1215 W. Chimes St., Apt. 7, was booked into Parish Prison on counts of domestic battery and aggravated battery.
According to a Baton Rouge Police report, Nalasco became angry and aggressive during an argument with the man around 8 p.m. Monday.
As the argument escalated, Nalasco grabbed a knife, charged toward the man and stabbed him in the stomach, the report says.
Nalasco became “very uncooperative” when confronted by police officers, the report says.
She remained in jail Tuesday evening. Bail had not yet been set.
