A Baton Rouge man was fatally stabbed Saturday night after police say he was found in his home on Eddie Robinson Drive.

Police responded around 10 p.m. to the home in the 1700 block of Eddie Robinson Drive where they found Alfred Pack, 52, suffering from apparent stab wounds, said Baton Rouge police spokesman Sgt. Don Coppola Jr.

Emergency medical crews brought Pack to the hospital where he later died of his injuries, Coppola said.

Investigators believe there was some type of argument or altercation leading up to the stabbing, Coppola said.

Police made no immediate arrests and were continuing on Sunday to investigate Pack's death.
