Police are looking for a 46-year-old man accused in the stabbing of a man Monday who was knifed in the face during an argument.

The victim told Baton Rouge police that Carl Robinson and he had gotten into an argument around midnight, and Robinson, who armed himself with a knife, stabbed the victim in the temple while the two were at 8651 Edwin Drive, the police report says.

The victim was taken to Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, the report says. Police said the stabbing left a large gash on the victim’s head, which required stitches.

Police presented the victim with a six-person photographic lineup, and the victim identified Robinson as the person who stabbed him, the report says.

Robinson, 1544 Stacey Drive, Baton Rouge, is wanted on a count of aggravated second-degree battery.
