One person was reportedly wounded in a shooting around 9:15 p.m. Friday near South Choctaw Drive, Baton Rouge police said.

Sgt. Don Coppola Jr., a police spokesman, said the shooting occurred in the 1800 block of North Marque Ann Drive, which is down the road from the intersection of South Choctaw  and North Harco drives. One person was reportedly shot, but Coppola did not immediately have information on the extent of the injuries.

The incident happened in the same subdivision where 34-year-old Stacy Gatlin was fatally shot Feb. 12, her body left in the middle of the 1100 block of Cristy Drive, police previously said. No one has been arrested in that death.
