A Baton Rouge man was arrested in the early morning hours Wednesday in the rape of a 6-year-old boy, according to a Baton Rouge police report.
Andres Pascual, 18, was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday after the child’s mother contacted police, according to the affidavit for arrest.
The child told police the incident happened some time during the second week of May.
The victim told police he was sitting next to Pascual when he tried to rape the boy, the report says.
The child yelled out, and Pascual stood up and told the child to leave, according to police.
Pascual was booked into Parish Prison on counts of first-degree rape and sexual battery.
