Authorities are searching for a woman seen using a stolen credit card at a Baker Walmart and several gas stations June 6, according to an East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office release.

The woman used the card 11 times, charging more than $400 in goods, the release says.

Police book suspect in robbery, battery

Police on Tuesday arrested a 19-year-old man in allegedly robbing another man at gunpoint then beating him with the weapon, according to an arrest warrant.

The victim told police he was standing in the driveway of a friend’s house at 9249 Southern Ave. on May 20 when a silver Dodge Charger pulled up, the warrant says.

The victim said Irvon McKay, whom he recognized, got out of the car, pointed a gun and said, “Give me everything you got,” the warrant says.

McKay took the victim’s cell phone then hit him in the face with the gun, the warrant says.

McKay, 5989 Denova St., was booked into Parish Prison on one count each of armed robbery and aggravated battery.

Woman booked in aggravated battery

A woman accused of spraying pepper spray into a car with six occupants, including two children, on June 14 was arrested Tuesday, according to an arrest warrant.

One of the victims told police she was stopped at a red light at North Acadian and North boulevards about 3:30 p.m. when a woman, who was not identified, attacked her car with a baseball bat, the warrant says.

Kenna Williams, 23, and several other people then ran up to the car and sprayed pepper spray into the partially open windows, the warrant says.

The victim said she had to rush her 3-month-old baby to the hospital for facial swelling and trouble breathing, the warrant says.

Williams, 2662 Edgewood Drive, was booked into Parish Prison on one count each of aggravated battery, cruelty to juveniles and criminal damage to property.

It was not clear from the warrant whether the other people involved have been arrested.

Man, 21, accused of sex with girl, 14

A 21-year-old man was arrested Tuesday, accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl in a car outside of a home in the 1300 block of North Foster Boulevard on June 8, according to an arrest warrant.

The victim was spotted by family friends in the car with William Patrick Womack, 1805 Bay St., in the process of putting her clothes back on, the warrant says.

When questioned, the victim said she and Womack had had sex after meeting on the social networking website, the warrant says.

Womack was booked into Parish Prison on one count of carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

Authorities book three on DWI counts

Authorities arrested at least three people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, booking records show.

Those booked and the counts against them:

• Rhett Hodges, 32, 305 Plantation Ridge Lane, first-offense DWI, possession of schedule 3 drugs and unlawful use of toxic vapors.

• Ann Smith, 40, 153 Thornton Cutoff, Pitkin, first-offense DWI, improper lane usage, failure to maintain control of vehicle and disobeying a red light.

• Andrew Tousignant, 19, 3701 Deborah Drive, Monroe, first-offense DWI, reckless operation of a vehicle and improper lane usage.
