Baton Rouge man accused of shooting at Convention Street house; no injuries reported _lowres


A Baton Rouge man who fired shots at a home on Convention Street — while the residents were outside — on Thursday afternoon told police he had been in an argument with the residents a few days before.

No one was injured, the arrest report says.

Adam Metevia, 19, 5638 George St., who told police where to find the handgun he had used, was found with a substance on him that appeared to be crack cocaine, the Baton Rouge Police report says.

Metevia was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on counts of attempted second-degree murder, possession of a firearm with drugs, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, criminal damage to property and illegal use of a weapon, police said.
