Baton Rouge police arrested a 25-year-old man accused with another unidentified man of providing drugs to a then 12-year-old runaway girl and raping her at a Baton Rouge motel more than a year ago.
The girl told detectives that a man, later identified by police as Antoine Addison, picked her up while she was hanging out in downtown Baton Rouge and drove her to an Airline Highway motel where the two men raped her and gave her cocaine and synthetic marijuana, a Baton Rouge police report says.
After motel staff told her she had to leave the next morning, the girl learned the room had been rented by a man named Anthony or Antoine, the report says.
Detectives determined that Addison had rented a room at the motel the same night the girl was raped, the report says, and matched a description of one of the perpetrators.
The victim identified Addison from a photographic lineup.
Police arrested Addison on Wednesday on a count of first-degree rape and booked him into Parish Prison, where he remained Thursday evening in lieu of $150,000 bail.
