A suspect has been arrested in the fatal shooting of a man Wednesday night at a Baton Rouge RV park, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office said.

Kentrell Brothers, 19, was jailed on a count of second-degree murder in the death of Sergio Estuardo Baleu-Cucul, 20, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The shooting happened at the Night RV Park at 14740 Florida Blvd.

Deputies at the scene learned that the victim had arrived at the RV park in a vehicle at approximately 8 p.m., and Brothers pulled up shortly afterward in a silver-colored SUV. Brothers proceeded to chase Baleu-Cucul through the RV park with a firearm and shot him multiple times, the Sheriff's Office said.

Brothers then fled the scene in his SUV.

Deputies obtained surveillance video, which they said showed the victim running from Brothers, who was carrying a handgun. Crime scene personnel recovered a palm print left at the scene, which was used to identify Brothers as the suspect, the Sheriff's Office said.
