Shrubbery spells out 'SOUTHERN,' with A.W. Mumford football stadium in background, at entrance to campus, Wed., Nov. 16, 2017.

Southern University has fired Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management Raymond Clarke, WBRZ reported Friday.

Clarke is the latest of several university administrators to face disciplinary action or termination in the last year. The TV station noted that Marcus Coleman, Southern University's dean of students, and Vaneshette Henderson, executive director for student achievement and retention, were told in September that they were being terminated.

Former Vice Chancellor Brandon Dumas was placed on administrative leave and ultimately fired over the summer.

In January, Southern System Associate Vice President Lester Pourciau was suspended with pay as the university investigated sexual harassment complaints.

Southern also fired former professor and Elder Law Clinic Director Dorothy Jackson in mid-February after an investigation into her involvement in the writing of a will for an East Baton Rouge Council on Aging client.
