Denham Springs Elementary 3rd grade teacher Kim Gerage leads her class to their new classroom in the gym at Freshwater Elementary School on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016. When they arrive, wall dividers will be put in place where the blue tape is on the floor. Freshwater Elementary School was severely damaged in the flooding and not only welcomed back its students Monday, but also hosted students from Denham Springs Elementary, another severely flood-damaged campus.
