LA Gov quicktake: See where the candidates stand on key issues:

Poll: A new independent poll on the gubernatorial runoff shows Democrat John Bel Edwards with a 20-point lead over Republican David Vitter.

Campaign Cash: James Carville is hosting a fundraiser at his New Orleans home for Democrat John Bel Edwards. Other high profile Dems scheduled to be there include former Gov. Kathleen Blanco, New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu and former U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu.

Jindal: A new Iowa poll has Gov. Bobby Jindal ahead of Jeb Bush and Carly Fiorina, among others, there. Jindal was tied for 5th place at 6 percent.

AG: The main Democrat in the attorney general’s race, who didn’t win enough votes to get into the runoff, has come out in support of one of the two Republicans still standing.
