Gov. Bobby Jindal flew to New York City Monday for a series of political and education meetings.

Over a two day period, Jindal will meet with the Republican Governors Association, discuss a lawsuit involving the state’s voucher program and address the Conservative Party of New York State. He is scheduled to return to Baton Rouge Tuesday.

One of the events on the governor’s calendar is The New York Meeting, a policy discussion featuring economists, members of the media and political leaders.
