Pastor Tony Spell of Life Tabernacle Church in Central, Louisiana is released from East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. He is accused of nearly hitting a protester with a bus. He was arrested on April 21, 2020 on a count of aggravated assault.

Spell has been cited for violating Louisiana's mandates on crowd sizes amid the coronavirus pandemic. Governor John Bel Edwards previously declared a public health emergency and signed an order limiting gatherings to 50 people.
