I see in the news that some folks are giving President Obama a hard time because he waited until now to come to Louisiana to review the flood damage. In reality the president and Governor Edwards jointly decided that the President's visit should be postponed until security resources could be freed up.Besides that, President Obama has been here since the day after the flood when he declared a federal disaster. He was represented by his employees at FEMA who responded to this catastrophe quite a bit quicker than George W. did to Katrina. Real people with real checkbooks have been in Baton Rouge for over a week.On the other hand — Trump made a three-hour photo op visit to Baton Rouge. He signed some autographs and hugged a few people for the cameras. Then he was off to his next campaign stop. After all — he has a lot more lies to tell and very little time to tell them in.What a great guy. Real presidential material.
