There is only one logical solution to the Electoral College debate. And it is so simple.
We are the United States of America. We are not the “Population-Weighted United States of America” (PWUSA). The system we currently have in place elects the president of the PWUSA. No state should have more of a say-so on who becomes president than any other state.
Once the parties nominees for president are selected, each state should vote. That way, each person’s vote has no more weight than any others. So the majority of voters in each state gets to say who that state wants to elect. Whatever candidate gets the most states to say it should be that person, that person should then become the president. That would be true representation of what the states want, not what we currently have which is a State Population-Weighted State President.
