Does State Sen. Katrina Jackson, D-Monroe, seriously think that we can all “come together” on Amendment 1?

She dances around the no-exceptions reality of this harsh no-abortion-ever bill and tries to make it rosy.

Is Jackson a mother? Does she think a mother who knows she will die in birth or is traumatized by rape but is forced to proceed can “come together?” If that mother is a single mother, a teenager, or both, who will raise the child?

Perhaps she could devote her fervent energies into making abortion rare, with education, job options and birth control. To think self-serving and extremist people are making such personal laws is way scarier than Halloween.
