Liberals want to silence Jeff Sadow. In the past few days, I've read in the "Reader's Views" in The Advocate that some people just don't disagree with Sadow's commentary on the Legislature and the governor; they want to take him out; have him silenced. They want The Advocate to stop using Sadow's commentary because it does not align with their opinions.

Nothing irks me more than people whose first instincts are to attack and destroy someone's opinion instead of just "changing the channel" or simply "stop reading" the offending person's column. Believe me, there are numerous columnists who appear in The Advocate that I don't agree with, but I would never advocate to silence them. I just won't pay much attention to what they espouse.

Where has our civility gone?
