For the first time in three years, former LSU teammates Leonard Fournette and Jamal Adams played against each other rather than with each other Sunday afternoon.
Competition was fierce between the two before Adams and the Jets sealed a 23-20 overtime win over Fournette and the Jaguars in East Rutherford, New Jersey, but it was all love between the two friends once the game was over.
The two were photographed swapping jerseys with each other, each writing a personal inscription starting with 'To my brother ...' to the other on the back.
Fournette later posted the photo on his Twitter account saying, "PRoud moment for me because we talked about this when we committed in high school, love always from 7 to 33 @TheAdams_era Brother4Life."
Adams re-tweeted Fournette's post, adding "1LUV brother!"
Both rookies added to their already impressive resumes for the season -- Fournette rushed for 86 yards on 24 carries and caught four passes for 59 yards and a touchdown, while Adams recorded three tackles and two assisted tackles.
