Former Scotlandville player Celica Sterling of Baton Rouge Community College is scheduled to sign with Southeastern Louisiana University in a ceremony set for 10 a.m. Friday, said BRCC women’s basketball coach Paula Lee.

Meanwhile, Lee recently signed two players who helped their teams to LHSAA title games last month — post players Malaya Spears of Division II runner-up Lee High and Tronayia Issac of Division IV champion Lafayette Christian.

Zachary basketball JaMecia Profit also is set to sign Friday. She is scheduled to sign with Pearl River Community College in a ceremony set for 10 a.m. on the second floor of the ZHS Athletic Complex. Another girls player, Walker's Breanna Zeringue, is scheduled to sign with Southwest Mississippi Junior College at 12:30 p.m. Friday at the school.

Another player who won two LHSAA titles, Holden guard KK Kropog, signed with LSU-Alexandria on Wednesday. Kropog helped the Rockets win Class B titles this spring and in 2016. Walker baseball player Lane Thomas signed with Southeastern on Wednesday.

The list of spring signees continues next week with two University High athletes. Track athlete Anne Furr, a pole vaulter, is set to sign with Washington and Lee, while tennis player Alex Gardiner is scheduled to sign with Millsaps during a 12:45 p.m. Monday ceremony in the school’s gym.
