Here’s some news: It’s hot.

LSU started Day 3 of preseason camp with morning drills that included veteran players and projected starters – and one new guy. Here are the news nuggets and videos.

New addition: Highly touted freshman offensive lineman Maea Teuhema joined the veteran group for practice Saturday after two days of participating in afternoon drills with the younger guys. Again, don’t read too much into that, but Teuhema was the only new freshman added to morning drills. He joined five others – who have been working with the vets since Day 1 on Thursday: DBs Donte Jackson, Xavier Lewis and Kevin Toliver and DEs Arden Key and Isaiah Washington. It’s unclear where Teuhema will play. Reports have seen him working both guard and tackle, but it’s tough to tell since media is only allowed in for individual drills.
