LSU coach Les Miles told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he has high hopes for freshman offensive tackle Chidi Valentine-Okeke.

Valetine-Okeke, a 6-foot-6, 315-pound freshman who played at Faith Baptist Christian Academy in Stockbridge, Ga., moved to the U.S. from Nigeria last year. He only played one season of organized football, but his raw skills moved him up the recruiting charts and led to his playing in the U.S. Army All-America Bowl game in January.

"We look forward to honing his abilities," Miles said.

Valentine-Okeke had a national position rank of 22 entering national signing day.
