LSU baseball players take shelter in the dugout after a swarm of bees showed up during practice Thursday, April 12, and took over home plate.

A swarm of bees took over home plate Thursday at Alex Box stadium, causing LSU baseball practice to be delayed, and eventually canceled -- seriously.

The 'migrating hive' forced team members to hide out in the dugout while LSU officials considered the situation. Later, a bee specialist showed up to try to solve the problem.
