Travez Moore

New LSU defensive end Travez Moore

Arden Key will likely be gone next season, but LSU will have a few options for his replacement.

The Tigers signed the nation's No. 6 JUCO prospect in the 2018 class in Travez Moore and will likely have him compete for the vacancy left by Key's assumed departure for the NFL after the season. He could also see time at the F-linebacker position.

At 6 foot 6, 250 pounds, he certainly has the size of Key.

Originally out of Bastrop, Moore decided to go to JUCO for the last two years before making the jump to a four-year school. He is expected to be an early enroll for the spring at LSU.

At a Glance: Another big score for Ed Orgeron out of JUCO, Moore is another large body that could fill the role of Arden Key at Buck linebacker after his expected departure for the NFL this season.

What They’re Saying: "Travez was a guy a lot of people wanted LSU to sign out of Bastrop High. He was a good player then as a D-end/outside linebacker. Didn't have his academics in order, went to JUCO and now two years later, got an offer and committed on the spot. A lot of people are intrigued to see what he can do because he has a couple years under his belt." - 247Sports recruiting analyst Shea Dixon
