Pretty soon, LSU will have its first afternoon game this season.

When the Tigers visit Ole Miss on Oct. 23, the game will air at 2:30 p.m. on CBS, the Southeastern Conference announced Monday.

LSU hasn't played on the network's SEC Game of the Week this season. Its previous seven games were either picked for 11 a.m. or night time kickoffs.

After losing two straight games, LSU sits at 3-3 overall and 1-2 in the SEC before it hosts No. 20 Florida this weekend.

Ole Miss, currently ranked No. 13 after a 52-51 win over now-No. 17 Arkansas, travels this Saturday to Tennessee.

LSU beat Ole Miss last season 53-48 in Baton Rouge. The Tigers lead the all-time series 64-40-4.
