The LSU gymnastics team clinched its second straight outright Southeastern Conference regular-season title long before it was set to take its first tumbling pass Sunday against Auburn.

No. 20-ranked Missouri upset No. 5 Florida on Friday, 196.925-196.700. The loss dropped the Gators into a second-place tie in the SEC at 5-2 with Alabama.

LSU is 12-1 overall and 6-0 in SEC meets.

The No. 3-ranked Tigers had already won a share of the SEC title before Florida lost. LSU is trying to go unbeaten in the SEC regular season for the second straight year and third time in the past four. LSU has won 28 of its past 29 SEC regular-season meets since midway through the 2014 season.

Sunday’s meet begins at 2:30 p.m. in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center and will be televised on the SEC Network.
