President Barack Obama isn’t the only public figure spending this week in Cuba.
LSU coach Les Miles is there, too.
Former LSU star Mikie Mahtook, now a member of the Tampa Bay Rays, tweeted Tuesday morning that Miles would watch the Rays play the Cuban National Team. The game is scheduled for 1:50 p.m. Tuesday and will be televised on ESPN.
Obama is also expected to attend the game during his groundbreaking trip to the island nation. A U.S. president hasn’t traveled to Cuba in 88 year. Obama met with Cuban President Raul Castro on Monday as the country’s reunite after a decades-long feud.
It’s unclear what else Miles will do in Cuba. The Tigers’ next spring practice is scheduled for March 29, as the school is on spring break this week.
