LSU linebacker Donnie Alexander (48) closes in on Arkansas wide receiver Jonathan Nance (7) before the stop in the second half of LSU's 33-10 win over Arkansas, Saturday, November 11, 2017, at LSU's Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La.

The playing status of LSU edge rusher Arden Key and linebacker Donnie Alexander remains in doubt.

The two defensive starters missed a third straight day of practice. Key continues recovery from a knee injury he suffered against Arkansas, and Alexander appeared to suffer a shoulder or neck injury. Both players returned to the 33-10 win over the Razorbacks, but neither have appeared at practice during the media's limited viewing windows Monday-Wednesday.

The No. 21 Tigers meet Tennessee on Saturday night in Neyland Stadium. True freshmen back up both Key and Akexander: K'Lavon Chaisson at edge rusher and Tyler Taylor at inside linebacker.
