LSU basketball gets more TV assignments, game times _lowres

The LSU men’s basketball team’s game with West Virginia on Dec. 4 in the Southeastern Conference-Big 12 Challenge will tip off at 6 p.m. CST on ESPN2, the SEC office announced Tuesday.

The date for the game, which will be played in Morgantown, West Virginia, had been previously announced. Game times and network for all 10 games in the Dec. 3-6 challenge were released Tuesday.

Ten of the 14 SEC schools and all 10 Big 12 teams will participate in the challenge, which is in its second season. Five games will be televised on either ESPN or ESPN2, with four on ESPNU and one on the SEC Network.

The challenge starts with Auburn at Texas Tech on Dec. 3 (SEC Network).

It continues the next night with LSU at West Virginia (ESPN2), Baylor at Vanderbilt (ESPNU), Arkansas at Iowa State (ESPN2) and TCU at Ole Miss (ESPNU).

The Dec. 5 schedule has Texas at Kentucky (ESPN), Florida at Kansas (ESPN) and Missouri at Oklahoma (ESPNU), with Oklahoma State at South Carolina (ESPNU) and Kansas State at Tennessee (ESPN2) closing it out on Dec. 6.

LSU last week announced its non-conference schedule and dates, times and networks for the SEC portion of the schedule is expected to be released soon.
