Former LSU defensive lineman Rickey Jean-Francois was released by the Indianapolis Colts on Monday, according to various reports.

Jean-Francois signed a four-year, $22 million deal with the Colts in 2013. He had 34 rackles, three sacks and six passes defenses while playing in 60 percent of the team's snaps.

Jean-Francois was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round in the 2009 NFL draft.

Jean-Francois is the second former LSU player released by Indianapolis. A couple of weeks ago, the Colts cut safety LaRon Landry, who signed a four-year, $24 million deal with the team in 2009.
