Wine of the Week_lowres

Following the cork straight out of the bottle, this glowing garnet Pinot Noir smells like blackberries ripening just above a layer of thorny underbrush, plus a dusting of cocoa powder. The aromas meld after an hour in the glass, as do flavors of pomegranate, cherries, herbs and a playful scratch of pine needles on the back of the tongue. Drink to complement lamb chops, wild mushroom pastas or salad dressings made with pomegranate molasses.
