The second annual New Orleans Bourbon Festival ( features seminars, dinners, tastings and events at locations around the city March 8-10.

  Events include tastings at the Contemporary Arts Center and seminars with brand ambassadors, bourbon distillers, bartenders, authors and others at the Le Meridien Hotel. There are eight bourbon dinners March 8 at area restaurants featuring dishes paired with bourbons picked by brand ambassadors and master distillers. There is an outdoor feast served family-style at Cochon with Jim Beam's Fred Booker Noe III ($150), a four-course meal at Palace Cafe with Maker's Mark Distillery's Rob Samuels ($130) and a four-course dinner at Toups South with Kris Comstock, the brand manager for Sazerac Companies and Buffalo Trace Distillery ($130).
