Middle and high school students can learn photography at specialized camps at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art.

Ogden Museum Summer Camp: High School Photography

Ages: Ninth- through 12th-graders, coed

Dates: July 8-19

Cost: $500, $450 Ogden members

Photographer and educator Aubrey Edwards teaches campers the basics of photography: how to use the camera, composition, exposure and storytelling, as well as photojournalism, portraiture, fashion and lighting. Campers participate in an exhibition on White Linen Night and take home a portfolio of their work.

She also will cover photojournalism, portraiture and lighting. Campers participate in a museum exhibition that opens on White Linen Night.
