The discount fee for senior citizens who adopt a pet over five years old is $50; adoption fees are waived for active and retired military. All animals are spayed or neutered and fees include microchipping, heartworm and flea medications, vaccinations, tags and licenses for Orleans Parish residents. Foster home volunteers are needed, as well as newspapers, towels and blankets for the shelter.
NOLA Lab Rescue
