The Big Easy International Film Festival is back this weekend with all screenings taking place at the Indywood Theater, 628 Elysian Fields Avenue. The Festival offers four feature films and 31 shorts, many with a Louisiana theme. Highlights include documentaries Potluck the Movie (which examines the use of medical marijuana) and The Global Warming War, along with shorts Howl-N-Madd Mississippi Blues Family Man, about regional bluesman Joe "Howl-N-Madd" Perry, and Truckin', which offers a tale of warring food trucks.
