Rising MCs Kid Cudi and Kendrick Lamar join Primus ("in 3-D"), electronic pop band Passion Pit and Scottish producer Calvin Harris and dozens others at the second annual Buku Music + Art Project, held March 8-9, 2013 at Mardi Gras World.

Buku marries rising stars in electronic music with their counterparts in hip-hop and indie rock - this year, indie darlings Best Coast and Passion Pit will star alongside Kendrick Lamar, whose 2012 major label debut Good Kid, M.A.A.D City has earned heaps of critical acclaim, along with a ubiquitous radio hit, "Swimming Pools (Drank)."

Long-running experimental trio Primus performs at the festival following its "3-D-enhanced" tour, during which audience members will wear 3-D specs.

This year's inaugural festival featured an all-star lineup, including Avicii, Wiz Khalifa, Skrillex, Big K.R.I.T. and others over a March weekend at Mardi Gras World.

For 2013, Buku will feature a third stage on a floating warehouse, with more art installations and VIP access to the Creole Queen riverboat, among other amenity upgrades.

The 2013 lineup also includes Major Lazer, Earl Sweatshirt, STS9, Nero, Flux Pavilion, Zed, Big Gigantic, Datsik, Dillon Francis, Rehab, alt-J, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Starfucker, Lettuce, Flosstradamus, Rac, Aeroplane, Shlomo, St. Lucia, Poolside, Hundred Waters, Break Science, Brown & Gammon, and locals Big Freedia, Nicky Da B, Gravity A and Coyotes.

Tickets for weekend-long passes start at $129.95 and go on sale 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7.
